The Children’s Musical Theatre Camp sponsored by the Hanover Arts & Activities Center is gearing up for another show - it’s time for Peter Pan!  

Rising 3rd through rising 9th graders may participate during the entire 5-week program.  Camp starts July 6, 2009 and takes place Monday through Thursday from 3:00 – 5:00pm at the Center.  Not only will the children be involved in all aspects of the production, but the camp organizers are dreaming up even more fun stuff for the kids!   Rising first and second graders may participate the last two weeks of the camp.   

On July 1, 2009, auditions will be held at the Hanover Arts and Activities Center (500 South Center Street) from 1:00-3:00pm and from 6:00-8:00pm.  Please show up prepared to sing a short song a capella (without music) and to read from the script.  Auditions are FUN! 

You may mail your completed Registration Form to the Hanover Arts and Activities Center ~ P.O. Box 486 ~ Ashland, VA or bring it with you to auditions on July 1, 2009.  No appointment is necessary for auditions.  Camp fees are outlined on the Registration form. 

Performances of Peter Pan are August 7 (6:30 p.m.), Aug. 8 (6:30 p.m.), and Aug. 9, 2009 (1:30 p.m.) Tickets will go on sale July 22, 2009.  Contact Lorie Foley, Director, at (804)798-0704 for more information.  Financial aid is available, and all inquiries will remain strictly confidential.  A limited number of scholarships will also be available.
